Designed exclusively for professional chefs, culinary educators and aspiring students, CONNECT Magazine is a quarterly publication that actively explores the interaction of culture and cuisine past, present, and future. Free of recipes and excessive advertising, CONNECT seeks to highlight both the heritage of the Industry as well as its sustaining values.

Each CONNECT issue focuses on a single value theme, such as creativity or courage, and explores that concept, linking together little known traditional and contemporary stories.

At least six originally researched stories in each issue will be available to readers around the world in over 28 languages, making the publication truly international in scope. Regional as well as national and international stories of interest can be found throughout each issue.

Grounded in the professional chef’s work ethnic of mise en place, each quarterly issue seeks to inspire and celebrate the important social values that this hard-working community practices and makes real each day, creating culinary culture.

CONNECT Magazine is created by Ana Kinkaid and Peter Schlagel, who bring 25 years experience in the hospitality industry to their roles as editor and publisher. Sought after as speakers at national culinary conferences as well as consultants to leading chefs and innovative vendors, they search to discover new tastes, technologies and trends while also supporting the enduring values of the Industry.
